Admissions
We welcome Parents and Carers interested in their child coming to the school to visit throughout the year, our doors are always open. Call us on 01363 773401 to arrange an appointment.
We also hold specific open events for admission into Year 7 and our Sixth Form in September and November, respectively. Our Open events are the best way to experience everything that QE can offer your child. It is a great opportunity for prospective parents and students to explore our school, to gain a true feel of our culture that allows our students to make great progress and to find out valuable information from a range of our teaching and support staff and also our student ambassadors.
We are responsible for our own admission however, we do use Devon County Council's admissions service to help us.
The Published Admission Number (PAN) for Year 7 in 2026-27 was set at 180, a reduction from 210 in 2025-26.
In 2025-26 the PAN for Year 7 was set at 150, a reduction from 210 in 2024-25. Following objection, the Schools Adjudicator determined the PAN to be 210.

All admissions into Year 7 are handled using the online admissions form used by all Devon schools. This is available by following the link at the bottom of this page. Admissions into other years, or during the year are also handled using the online form.
