Welcome from the Principal

Welcome to Queen Elizabeth’s or QE, as it is often affectionately known. At QE we care passionately about each student as a unique individual and do our utmost to ensure their wellbeing and happiness, as ultimately this breeds their success. We are a successful school at the heart of our community.

Students make good and outstanding progress here. We understand the importance of excellent exam results and believe that education empowers by delivering secure knowledge, problem solving skills, deep understanding and the ability to think creatively.

We also believe that education is a holistic enterprise and therefore have a vibrant range of enriching activities, from the most fabulous theatre productions, art and music to sporting excellence and an extensive outdoor education programme.
