How to Apply and UCAS Information
How to Apply
We welcome applications from all students, regardless of which secondary school they attended.
We run Open Mornings on the first Tuesday of every month during term time, between 9.00am-11.45am. These give you an opportunity to meet our Head of Sixth Form, enjoy a tour and a taster session and experience an introduction to our Aspire Programme.
Please get in touch with our Sixth Form office if you would like to come along to one of our Open Mornings or if you have any questions about our Post-16 offering.

Applications for Sixth Form open in October. Please complete and submit the online application form.
Each student will be invited to a progression meeting after half-term to discuss their application. These are fairly informal meetings, designed to make sure students are applying for courses that fit in with their interests and career aims, and to answer any questions about Sixth Form study.
Once all progression meetings have been completed, students may be offered a place in the Sixth Form. Please note the entry requirements for Sixth Form courses, which are outlined in the Course Guide.
Students will also be invited to our Applicant Day, held in June – a taster day for all students who are considering joining QE Sixth Form. They will also be sent instructions on how to enrol on courses once GCSE results have been released in August.
UCAS and Careers Information
At the bottom of this page there are some downloadable guides which will provide parents with further information and guidance around supporting their child with their high education and career choices.
There is also a copy of our Sixth Form Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance Policy. We also recommend parents and students go to the National Careers Service website, for further guidance and support around Careers: https://nationalcareers.service.gov.uk/
