Ten Tors Celebration
Families and students were invited to attend a celebration of the 2026 Ten Tors event on Monday 29th June. The evening was a chance to share stories, reflect on the many highs and lows of the training season and the event itself and recognise the extraordinary achievement of the young people who made up QE’s three teams (one 35-mile and two 55-mile).
We were honoured to host Major Paul McDougal, a key figure in the running of Ten Tors, who presented students with their team awards and control cards. Major McDougal spoke of the incredible challenge the students conquered and praised all the participants for the resilience they showed. He also thanked the training team and the parents for the support they provide to the Ten Tors teams.
The evening also looked forward to the 2027 event. Applications will be open in September and students will receive more information in the new term.
