Equality Reporting
Children and young people learn best in an environment where they feel safe and respected. Being exposed to disrespectful behaviour can undermine that sense of safety and respect and affect educational outcomes. Children and young people tell us that disrespectful behaviour happens, in person, via social media and other platforms. Examples could be anyone clearly heard using racist, homophobic or sexist terms or anyone using terms mocking disabilities. Disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated at QE, every child and adult has the right not to be exposed to discrimination, we are therefore encouraging students to report such incidents to a member of staff or by filling in the following form.
