Business Studies is a broad subject in the Social Sciences, allowing the in-depth study of a range of specialties such as accountancy, finance, organisation, human resources management and marketing.
Business Studies core purpose is for students to understand why a business might evolve. Students are encouraged to understand the processes of a small start-up business and also a large multinational organisation. Students will consider a range of different business types and gain an understanding of how the choice of business type might affect the objectives that are set.
