Academic excellence

Queen Elizabeth’s Sixth Form is a thriving and well respected Sixth Form of around 200 students with a traditional ethos of student support and an excellent academic reputation. Students make outstanding progress in our Sixth Form.

QE Sixth Form is a diverse educational setting, attracting students from our own school, from Exeter and from across Devon who are attracted by the range of academic courses that we offer.

Results

Our results compare very favourably to national figures. We are particularly proud of our progress scores, which place us among the very best Sixth Forms in the South West.

Academic Years 2019-20 and 2020-21 used teacher assessed grades due to the pandemic and have not been included in the tables below.

In addition, due to the uneven impact of the pandemic on 2021/22 school and college performance data the Department for Education recommend:

• Not making direct comparisons with data from previous years or between schools or colleges.
• Discussing with the school or college factors that may have influenced these results and consider a range of information when forming a view on how well a school or college is doing, including pupil/student population information.
