Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Covid situation, we are not able to offer our usual Options Event this year.

However we are using our fantastic Options Event video, produced last year, that gives you a clear picture of the subject choices available to you at QE.

A message from Ross Gillon our Head of Year 9

The next stage in your education is probably the most important of all. Whatever you do in the rest of your life, it will be much easier if you make a success of these next two years.

All students study the following Core subjects:

English 

Maths 

Science - Combined

Geography or History

MFL - French and German

PE Core

Personal Development

Religious Studies

Everyone will choose either History or Geography and many students will continue with their Modern Foreign Language as a core subject. We are very proud of the range of subjects in our curriculum and that they are available to students of all abilities. The options process aims to help everyone to make the best choice of course to suit their interests and help all students to progress to what they want to do in the next phase education and beyond.
