Dear Parents and Carers
You are invited to an information evening on Wednesday 26th April at 18:00 hrs in the main hall on the Barnfield Campus. This will be an Open meeting for all parents, carers and members of the community to discuss the proposed Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust.
Before the February half term break the governors of Queen Elizabeth’s announced that they are looking at working with a number of neighbouring schools on the possibility of forming a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT). A ‘MAT’ is a group of schools that work together in a formal arrangement. All schools within a MAT are governed by a single board of trustees. The board of trustees is responsible for decisions relating to how each school is run but there will still be a local governing body for each school who will monitor and challenge the quality of education in each school. The evening is designed to give you more information on this proposal.
It would be helpful if you could give an indication of your planned attendance so that we can make appropriate arrangements. Please either complete the survey using the attached link:

If you do not have access to a computer, please confirm your attendance by contacting our Reception on 01363 773401.
I look forward to welcoming you on the evening.
Yours faithfully
