Katy has 20 years of experience in professional storytelling and leading workshops with children and adults of all ages. She has worked extensively in schools, museums and other educational settings and is especially strong on English folktales and Greek mythology.
The students at QE sat spellbound by Katy's vivid storytelling for the entire hour, completely absorbed at the tale that unfolded before them.
Head of Key Stage 3, Danielle Chubb, hopes that the power of Katy’s engaging and thought-provoking story telling workshops will encourage our young writers to experiment with their literature and read more widely.
The English Department hopes to collaborate with Katy again in the future, in order to benefit many more students to come.
A special thanks to QE’s Librarian, Robert Logan, for welcoming this magical and inspiring event in the school library.
