On Wednesday the 24th of May, QE hosted a live show from the all-male singing group 'Semi-Toned'. In 2016 the group, who formed at the University of Exeter, were the winners of BBC 2’s ‘The Choir: Gareth’s Best in Britain’ and they have spent much of 2017 touring in the USA. They performed at the Barnfield Campus for our Year 7 students, who sang and danced along to the classic and modern renditions that the group harmoniously sung in their A Capella style.
Whilst the singing was entertaining enough itself, it was the humour and eccentric choreography that filled the hall with energy, making everything even more fun.
The afternoon was hugely enjoyed by QE students who were joined by pupils from primary schools in the Crediton Learning Community. The event was financed by DAISI.
