The Queen Elizabeth's Educational Foundation is an Educational Charity. The modern version of this charity was established in 1996 when a number of individual charities pertaining to education in Crediton were amalgamated in consultation with the Charities Commission.
QE has links dating back to 1547 and the original Foundation Charities date back to 1921.
The Queen Elizabeth’s Education Foundation offers a wide variety of support and financial assistance for either individual students or groups of students, both past and present, up to the age of 25.
The Foundation provides bursary grants for students leaving the School to go on to University, Further Education, Apprenticeships and Vocational Training, to assist in the purchase of books. It also considers requests from students and staff, through the Headteacher, to provide funds for educational visits or equipment for extra-curricular activities.
