This Summer the Outdoor Education department has continued to be very busy with numerous activities and trips.
Our Year 10 OCR Sports Studies students have recently completed a 2-day canoeing and camping expedition to Turf Lock near Starcross. The students paddled the entire length of the Exeter Ship Canal and back. A great achievement, so well done to all of them.
After school Outdoor Adventure sessions sold out months ago and it's been great to see so many students enjoying mountain biking, paddling and surfing sessions, making the most of the fantastic conditions we've been having recently.
In addition to QE students getting out there, we have also had the pleasure of taking some of our local primary schools out for various activities including canoeing and climbing. Bow, Cheriton Bishop, Brampford Speke and Tedburn Primary Schools have all joined our events so the impact of the PE department is stretching far and wide!
We'd like to extend our thanks to all of the students that we have had the pleasure of taking out on these activities to date, and look forward to seeing many new faces getting involved next year.
